Coat rack won’t stay closed

It's likely that someone has reached up into the shelf and messed with the wires. As pictured below, they are just kind of tucked up there.

You can use screw caps (or electrical tape in a hurry) to connect the black wire to black, and the red wire to red. These are a low voltage, but to be safe you can shut it off by turning off Clue before messing with wires. We recommend turning off Clue (or any room when working on wiring, unless otherwise told not to by Tech).

There’s a chance that it’s a bigger issue with the magnetic lock. You will have to remove the outward part of the coat rack to access it.
