Table
Not triggering when placing artifacts on tabletop
First, you'll want to check if it's the artifact having an issue. You can test to see if things will trigger properly by using another combination of table artifacts and any strong magnets you have lying around.
-
If other magnets/artifacts work, then order a new artifact from the Warehouse or, depending on the object, replace the magnet inside yourself.

-
If the other magnets/artifacts don't work, continue troubleshooting.

Check inside the volcano for the table Arduino. Check the wiring for that specific artifact on both the Arduino side and the table side. View a diagram of the Arduino by clicking here.
-
If wiring is secure, try replacing the affected reed switch. If you do need to replace the affected reed switch, you'll want to do the following:
- Mark where the existing reed switch is mounted, then unscrew it

- Follow the wiring back to the green PCB and undo the reed switch's wiring. If you don't know where the wiring goes, contact Tech Support

- Replace with a new reed switch and re-mount in the correct place. Be sure to test it out to ensure it works. Contact Tech Support if you cannot get it to work

- If nothing works, contact Tech Support for a new Arduino

LEDs on table not on or working
First, check the wiring inside of the table to ensure all of the lights are still connected to the PCB inside. Every light should be connected via a red and a white wire. If they are all connected, proceed troubleshooting.
If needed, check inside the volcano for the Table Arduino. These will be labeled on the Arduino as LEDs with a corresponding labels for each artifact LED. See the Arduino diagram by clicking here.

Handkerchief or skull drop box not closing/opening
If it’s not closing, then the maglock is likely to blame. Do all the usual Maglock checks and ensure that it is receiving power.
If it is not opening, confirm that unplugging your Arduino does open it. If it still doesn’t open, then it is stuck. Otherwise, check the wiring and reference the table Arduino article. Ensure that everything is still connected properly.
Big chest not closing/opening
If it isn't closing, then the maglock is likely to blame. Do all the usual Maglock checks and ensure that it is receiving power.
If it isn't opening, confirm that unplugging your Arduino does open it. If it still doesn’t open, then it is likely stuck. Otherwise, check the wiring and reference the table Arduino article. Ensure that everything is still connected properly.
Gas Strut Issues
The additional thing to check with the chest are the gas struts that push the chest open. If the chest’s magnets disengage but the lid isn’t pushed up - replace your gas struts.
Some chests are all one big piece and it would be hard to get to the bottom of the struts. Thankfully, we can replace them without completely removing the old struts. Each strut is really three detachable parts: The moving arm section in the middle and two ball and socket end caps that can be screwed on and off.

- Start with the top, more accessible, end of the strut and pop it off the ball joint by prying at the band on the back of the head using a flathead screwdriver.

      2. Then, you'll want to unscrew the arm from the bottom end piece. This will leave the old end piece still attached down in the sides of the chest.
      3. Take your new strut and remove one of the end pieces by unscrewing it.
      4. Stick it down into the side of the chest and screw it back into the old bottom piece.
      5. Push to pop the other end into the top section.
